When you're considered different, it seems life in a closed society can be difficult. Imagine your parents suffering a tragic accident... or your brother being a repressed gay man who won't acknowledge you... You live in a suburban housing project where it seems everything you do is always against the owners' sadistic rules, it's an place where the morons who run it do so with an iron fist, and apply their vindictive laws frustratingly to everyone. It becomes almost torture to live there, and it borders on stupidity to explore the stairs, street corners and cellars in an effort to escape.
