Green-eyed Laura Young is a golf enthusiast who’s on the putting green and delighting country club members with her skills, charm and form. “I did shoot a 72 the other day,” admits the all-natural brunette. “Of course, that was before I reached the sixth green.” Keeping track of her scores and the way she moves her voluptuous figure on the course are her fellow members, but our Playmate of the Month says no just anyone is qualified to be her caddie. “I love men with a sense of humor and expensive tastes,” explains our Miss October 1962. “However, it really turns me off when men are moody and can’t dance. My only requirement in men is that they be fun to be with—I can't stand fellows with moody or sleepy personalities.” Getting married, buying a house with a white picket fence in a town she could raise a family in is extremely important to Laura who never experienced being in one city long enough to make friends as a child. Living a nomadic lifestyle because of her stepfather’s naval career, our busty Playmate of the Month called everything from the Panama Canal to New Jersey home at some point, but she hopes to make bustling Chicago her forever home. “This is really my first modeling job—I've been in front of the camera before, but the photographer just needed a woman's back, not her face!” she laughs. “I really hope I could make it as a model before I’m too old to enjoy it.” We don’t think Laura Young has to worry about that now that she’s our Miss October 1962.
